Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified creative professional to lead our healing childhood trauma through a psychosocial community mental health approach. This role requires a strategic thinker and a doer who is adept at building curriculum design focused on training teachers, social workers, etc. while overseeing research, building learning ecosystems, and facilitating training programs.

The ideal candidate is essentially required to be a skilled manager capable of fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment within a professional social work setting. They are expected to lead institutional efforts to set strategic goals and objectives for addressing childhood trauma with a systems approach, working closely with external stakeholders such as social services, law enforcement, state government, and other NGOs. This role will involve developing and implementing training programs on trauma-informed care and psychological support techniques at a state and a national level, fostering and nourishing multi-disciplinary teams under them, while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote healing and drive ecosystem-level change on a national scale.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Program Development & Strategy:
    1. Lead curriculum design and training programs on trauma-informed care for teachers, social workers, and relevant stakeholders.
    2. Develop and implement strategic goals for addressing childhood trauma with a systems approach.
    3. Foster collaboration between social services, law enforcement, government, and NGOs.
  2. Training & Facilitation:
    1. Design, oversee, and facilitate training sessions at state and national levels.
    2. Use evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote healing and drive systemic change.
  3. Research & Content Development:
    1. Oversee research initiatives and curate relevant content for training programs.
    2. Build and nurture learning ecosystems that contribute to program goals.
  4. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    1. Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
    2. Build partnerships with external stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation.
  5. Other tasks

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Fine Arts, Sociology, Psychiatric Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training facilitation, curriculum design, and grassroots interventions related to childhood trauma.
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all data and information and maintaining professional boundaries with all constituencies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in NGOs or child welfare settings.
  • Familiarity with community resources for trauma and abuse.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and think at a systemic level.
  • Leadership qualities with intellectual humility and emotional resilience.

This role will have a direct reporting line to the Founder Director and will also work in coordination with the Program team and ground team members. It will involve active collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring a constant flow of inputs and advice to enhance overall effectiveness.

Job Summary

The role of Officer-Communications is to support the development and implementation of the communication work at Protsahan with a focus on digital communication and visual content. 

The post holder will work closely with the team at Protsahan to ensure that internal and external communication is effectively implemented, and visual content is developed appealingly and in compliance with Protsahan’s branding and child protection guidelines.

This position will assist with successfully managing the cross-vertical communications at Protsahan.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation and Management:
    • Develop engaging and relevant content for various channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and IEC materials
    • Write articles, blog posts, and press releases that effectively convey the organization’s mission, impact, and success stories
    • Collaborate with external stakeholders like, designers, filmmakers and videographers to create impactful content that highlights Protsahan’s work
    • Ensure that video and visual content aligns with the organization’s messaging and objectives
    • Responsible for designing collaterals for programs (including backdrop, standee, online banner, etc.)
    • Oversee the organization’s website and google analytics, ensuring that content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with Protsahan’s branding and goals.
    • Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to child welfare and trauma-informed care as required.
    • Social Media Management:
      • Strategically plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms on a regular basis (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) through the cadence of a social media calendar as needed
      • Monitor social media engagement through innovative ways, respond to comments, and actively engage with the online community
      • Stay updated and create SOPs on social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize outreach and engagement, etc.
    • Documentation of Impact Stories:
      • Identify and document success stories, case studies, and testimonials from program participants, partners, and community members in collaboration with the team
      • Document Minutes of Meetings from monthly community and center update calls and other team meetings as required
      • Prepare and compile comprehensive reports detailing the organization’s achievements, activities, and outcomes.
      • Collaborate with program teams to collect necessary data and information from the ground for accurate reporting.
      • Ensure Annual Report, program curricula, lesson plans, modules, etc. are well-structured, visually appealing, and effectively communicate results to various stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in communications, marketing, psychology, sociology, multimedia, arts, fine arts, or any related field;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in communications, multimedia content developing, designing, advertising, social media, marketing, public relations, or related fields, preferably in the Non-profit sector.
  • Knowledge of working with design software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva, and After Effects. Working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Cut Pro, and After Effects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders 
  • Competent user of MS Office / Google Office suites/Google drive (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize the resources and tasks, in order to support simultaneous deliverables and delivery dates.
  • Support advocacy efforts by creating impactful messages that align with Protsahan’s goals and resonate with key stakeholders.
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Job Summary

This role involves close coordination with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of programs and initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Girl Empowerment Center
  2. Conduct monthly home visits to assess program effectiveness and support participants.
  3. Guide Youth Program Leaders (YPL) and support the community mobilizer in managing the Girl Champions Programme.
  4. Implement community engagement interventions, including organizing Slum Panchayats, under the guidance of HGO (Head Ground Operations).
  5. Prepare various reports, MIS sheets, regularly update student databases, different kinds of data trackers including detailed monthly reports to communicate program impact at the center level.
  6. Verification of various documents needed by different department heads from time to time
  7. Perform various administrative functions at the center keeping the interests of the girls at the center
  8. Facilitate dialogues and sessions with Girl Champions in the absence of subject coaches.
  9. Assist the HGO in coordinating with various resource persons to achieve program objectives.
  10. Ensure successful implementation of yearly program activities, focusing on budget optimization, risk management, and continuous learning.
  11. Assist in planning and executing out-of-center visits for Girl Champions to enhance learning experiences
  12. Any other duties as assigned by the Management or the reporting manager

Educational Qualification – Graduate in  Social Work with a minimum 2 years of work experience in center coordination role preferably in a Non Profit organization.

Competency – 

  • Computer proficiency – Good working knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheet and Google Docs  
  • Good communication (oral and written) and presentation skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability for decision-making, coordination and time management skills.

Remuneration:  up to Rs. 2.40 Lakhs per annum

Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and motivated HR Executive to join our team. As an HR Executive, he/she will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. The position holder is responsible for various aspects of human resources management, ensuring that the organisation attracts, retains, and develops a talented and committed workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, assisting in preparing job descriptions, including job postings, and initial screening of the candidates regarding the vacant positions.
  • Assist in maintaining the recruitment pipeline for vacant positions as well as for interns and volunteers and prepare candidate matrix etc.
  1. Employee Engagement
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee satisfaction by assisting in organising engagement activities and events.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional HR certifications are a plus.
  • At least 3-4 years experience as an HR Executive or in a similar HR role, preferably in the NGO or non-profit sector.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in HR software, databases, and Google Drive

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of key accounting principles applicable to NGOs and should have sound understanding and working knowledge of the Income Tax Act, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, Labour laws, etc, sound working knowledge of Tally ERP, and possess good analytical and communication skills. To be successful at Protsahan, the candidate will necessarily need to have passion for our mission and a strong desire to work in a dynamic and growing non-profit organization. Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity, consistency to thrive with commitment at work and trustworthiness. The selected incumbent on the position has to maintain proper accounts/keep a track of organisational budget and update/ monitor the same, ensure timely preparation and finalisation of  utilization certificates/financial statements/audit reports, compliance with all applicable laws including ESI, EPF, Gratuity, Income Tax, FCRA etc. for strengthening the financial management system.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  1. To maintain accounts including in financial softwares- Tally and render assistance to their staff w.r.t. accounts/ budget.
  2. To maintain the financial records and reports pertaining to the project/ programme, keeping track of expenses and updating the master budget sheet on a regular basis.
  3. To work closely with Programme head and head ground operations for strengthening the financial management system and ensuring flawless documentation at all times.
  4. To prepare budgets, compile UCs in Compliance with the MOUs/, facilitating audits, preparation and finalization of financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income & Expenditure, Receipts & payment accounts etc. in a timely manner in close coordination with department heads.
  5. To undertake field visits at project sites to analyze the situation of compliance with financial management procedures, assess implementation, find gaps and take corrective actions accordingly for effective utilization of resources.
  6. To conduct training with the ground team for proper documentation and maintenance of records/documentation necessary for financial management on a periodic basis 
  7. To develop and streamline processes for internal control, identify and plug gaps for revenue leakage, ensure implementation of finance policies and manuals at all levels in the organization.
  8. To undertake/ streamline the handling of receipts and payments/ budgets/ imprest/ bank processes; calculation, deduction of TDS and filing TDS returns, depositing EPS, ESI and filing necessary returns in a timely manner; verification and validation of bills/ vouchers; reconciliation of bank statement & other account balances; maintain inward-outward & asset register etc. as required.
  9. To support the implementation of an effective and efficient financial control management system across the organization
  10. To stay abreast of changes/amendments in applicable laws at all times and ensure compliance thereof
  11. To supervise and train staff down the line for effective accounting and financial management.
  12. Any other duties as assigned by the Management or reporting manager.

Educational QualificationPost-graduate in commerce with minimum 6 years’ of experience in accounting and financial analysis (preferably in FCRA-registered NGO), budgeting, financial software including Tally, and reporting systems.

Or

Graduate in commerce with a good academic record; and minimum 8 years of post-qualification work experience in accounting and finance.

Competency – 

  • Computer proficiency with commonly used software/ packages like Google Workspace Suite (Drive, Meet, Calendar, Chat, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms etc).
  • Knowledge and proficiency in finance related software and packages such as Tally and any integrated accounting software.
  • Good communication (oral and written) and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability for decision making skills in navigating complex situations
  • Precision in financial reporting, thoroughness in audits and accuracy in analysis
  • Time management skills.
