Executive –Accounts

Protsahan India Foundation is looking for a full-time Executive – Accounts to strengthen our work with girls and vulnerable communities through strong financial systems, accurate reporting, and donor compliance. In this role, you will support the finance department in performing various administrative and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. What you’ll do:

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and Tally data entry.
  • Assist in financial record management, including expense tracking and invoice processing.
  • Maintain financial documentation for program activities across grassroots centers.
  • Support day-to-day finance operations and resolve basic accounting or compliance queries within defined processes.
  • Learn and adapt to organizational finance systems while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in task execution.

Must-haves:

  • Graduate in Commerce with basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records, track expenses, and support audits
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and documentation

Advantage if you bring:

  • Experience in supporting donor audits and financial compliance (FCRA, TDS)
  • Familiarity with budgeting and fund utilization tracking
  • Ability to explain financial data in simple terms for program teams
  • Experience in working with community-based or grassroots organizations

Growth Path:

This is a Grade A role as per Protsahan’s structure. Promotion to Senior Executive grade is possible after achieving 95%+ KPI scores across administrative efficiency metrics and financial coordination outcomes for a minimum tenure of 3 years.
