About Protsahan India Foundation

Protsahan, a Delhi-based non-profit, focuses on caring, rehabilitating, and reintegrating historically marginalised children and girls who’ve experienced gender-based violence (GBV). We support over a lakh girls in slums, empowering them to break free from begging, child marriage, child labor, and abuse. Through arts-based education and life skills training, we equip them for autonomous and thriving adulthood while strengthening their families’ social protection to prevent institutionalisation.

Protsahan works cohesively to nurture girl champions from socially excluded backgrounds by bringing 21st-century skills that endorse self-learning and drive social and economic growth to enable an enriched and sustainable future for a young girl where she reaches her full potential.

Additionally, Protsahan nurtures grassroots partnerships focused on Healing Childhood Trauma through comprehensive training, research, and advocacy initiatives. These efforts aim to fortify the child protection ecosystem and promote holistic well-being for every child, particularly those in remote areas across India.
