About Protsahan
Protsahan India Foundation is a child-centered, systems-change nonprofit working to prevent and heal Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) among adolescent girls in contexts of deep adversity. We implement direct interventions through our Girl Empowerment Centers and work to strengthen public systems through evidence-based field building and trauma-informed ecosystem design—especially across education, care, and justice sectors.
Purpose of the Role
This is a core program delivery role. The Lead – Knowledge Management will anchor the design, contextualization, and dissemination of trauma-informed care training for educators, child protection functionaries, and frontline workers. This will be executed through CareVerse—Protsahan’s field-building initiative on trauma-informed learning ecosystems for India.
This position is essential to Protsahan’s programmatic outcomes under Goal 3: Ecosystem Strengthening and contributes directly to child healing, child protection, and implementation of CareVerse as per mandates under NEP across state systems. The role also supports the development and rollout of Protsahan’s community-based innovations as open-source digital public goods.
Key Outcomes (First 12 months)
- Ecosystem Building:
Build and activate a knowledge ecosystem by reaching 1 million stakeholders through high-impact partnerships with government bodies, educational institutions, and civil society organizations. - Content Creation:
Design and produce a minimum of 25 CareVerse videos and co-develop a comprehensive training curriculum grounded in trauma-informed pedagogy and contextual relevance. - Trainings and Facilitations:
Deliver a minimum of 10 trainings or workshops, engaging educators, frontline workers, and system actors in the adoption of trauma-informed practices. Minimum of 30 participants in each training/ workshop.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and Activate Knowledge Ecosystems
- Establish and manage partnerships with government bodies, educational institutions, and civil society to reach 1 million stakeholders through the CareVerse initiative.
- Facilitate systemic integration of trauma-informed frameworks into state education and child protection systems in alignment with NEP 2020.
- Represent Protsahan in consultations, working groups, and capacity-building platforms to advocate for child healing and trauma-informed care.
2. Design and Deliver High-Impact Content & Trainings
- Lead the design, contextualization, and production of CareVerse learning resources, including 25+ videos and comprehensive trauma-informed curricula.
- Conduct and facilitate a minimum of 10 trainings and ToTs for educators, frontline workers, and master facilitators, driving adoption of trauma-informed practices.
- Document grassroots insights and translate them into knowledge products (facilitator guides, toolkits, visual playbooks) to strengthen community-level child protection capacities.
Qualifications & Experience
Must have
- 8–12 years of experience in education, curriculum development, SEL, or trauma-informed pedagogy with a strong focus on capacity building.
- Proven track record in teacher training, facilitation, and participatory content creation for diverse education or child protection stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in building institutional partnerships with state education or child protection departments (SCERT, DIETs, WCD, etc.) to embed systemic change.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills in Hindi and English; strong documentation abilities.
Nice to have
- Background in early childhood development, experiential learning, or healing-centered engagement frameworks.
- Experience in producing multimedia learning assets (videos, digital playbooks).
- Prior involvement in designing and managing MEL-linked knowledge products (evidence briefs, case studies, field reports).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Partnership Reach: Number and diversity of partners contributing to the 1 million stakeholder goal
- Content Outputs: Timely delivery of 25 CareVerse videos + quality and engagement of curriculum
- Training Impact: Number of sessions delivered, participant feedback scores, knowledge uptake
- Engagement Metrics: Number of stakeholders actively engaging with knowledge assets
- Learning Products: Number and quality of case studies, reports, and field learnings documented
