Under Project Stree and Project Artisan Honour, Protsahan's young adolescent girls are trained to craft beautiful handmade products as a livelihood skill and as a means to achieve self sustainability. We accept bulk orders for corporations and international customers subject to sufficient time availability, as all products are handmade.
Numerous corporate organizations have lent their support for Protsahan in their own ways. In the recent past, Protsahan has been closely involved with projects with PVR Cinemas (PVR NEST), Macquairie (Independence Day campaign), Ford (#IdonateAbook twitter digital campaign), Apeejay Surendra Group, McDonalds and SHELL Petroleum. We are associated with corporations such as Airtel (Self Defense Training for Protsahan girls and many fundraisers), Panasonic (International Literacy Day and World Environment Day campaigns), Wipro, Sunlife, Infosys, TCS, Aircel, Citibank Singapore, IHG, DPD Continental, Copal, Mahindra Comviva, Just Dial, Pitney Bowes, Telinor, Uninor, PWC, McKinsey, SIMCO, Frost & Sullivan, Moser Baer, FMS, Airtight Networks, Alcatel, KPMG, Canon India, Tata Photon and Grail Research.
All these companies have wholeheartedly come out in support of Project Stree by encouraging their employees to buy products made by young Protsahan girls. Harley Davidson, Just Dial, Sunlife, Macquairie Foundation, HCL, Panasonic have supported us through various fundraising initiatives on their own as well. We have been nominated under the Social Innovation category by NASSCOM Foundation and Samsung in 2012 and 2011, respectively.
The products we sell provide us with a means to ensure the sustainability of our projects and initiatives. The sale of artwork made by our children also gives to them a sense of dignity in their work. They start to understand that things they can create have value and that their own abilities have a worth. Our items can be used for corporate gifting, bazaars and other events.
