Badi Didi Peer Educators

“Badi Didi” means “big sister” in Hindi. Our Didis are those little girls that Protsahan first helped 3 years ago. These girls have grown into adolescent superstars who are proficient in filmmaking, photography, and traditional artwork such as Madhubani, Kalamkari and Warly. Our Didis are the perfect mentors for the newer batches of toddlers that go through our programmes. It is hoped that this community involvement will foster a sense of responsibility and ownership for the community as each Didi learns to teach and guide the next. Currently, we have about 85 young girls involved in this project.
